HEDELIUS produces machining centres with 3-, 4- and 5-controlled NC axes. A CNC machining centre from HEDELIUS is used in many industries for milling and drilling metal and plastic workpieces. The machining centres are equipped with CNC (Computerised Numerical Control) systems from Heidenhain or Siemens. HEDELIUS employs around 235 people and is one of the leading German manufacturers of machining centres for precise 5-axis machining. The product range of 5-axis machining centres includes milling machines with a rotating/swivelling table unit (ACURA series with A/C kinematics) as well as a swivelling main spindle in conjunction with an NC rotary table (TILTENTA series with B/C kinematics).
