HEDELIUS MARATHON automation solutions
A proven concept for greater productivity offers a combination of a compact HEDELIUS 5-axis machining centre and beginner-friendly MARATHON automation. Our in-house pallet handling systems really come into their own when producing repeat parts or small to medium series. Perfectly harmonised, this combination is particularly impressive thanks to its consistent operating concept.

Automation interfaces for third-party providers
The choice of the right automation system depends on the number of pieces, batch size, running time, dimensions and weight of the workpieces to be produced. HEDELIUS therefore works with numerous well-known automation partners to find the optimum solution for every requirement. We offer numerous solutions for small batch sizes with high variance, workpiece handling with robots for large batch sizes and hybrid automation solutions as a combination of workpiece and pallet handling.
MARATHON automations.
Our range of automation solutions currently comprises four systems. Pallets can be loaded efficiently with the MARATHON PL406, the MARATHON SR422 and the MARATHON SR518. The MARATHON RZ430 is our latest automation system and is a hybrid solution for handling pallets and workpieces. The RZ430 also offers the function of multi-machine loading.

Interfaces for third-party providers
Pre-configured standard interfaces, e.g. for EROWA, INDUNORM, ROBOJOB, BMO or LANG, are available for the electrical connection to an automation system. This interface concept is designed so that users can select the optimal solution for their automation tasks on the market and simply connect it to the machine. To optimise the installation of the automation, HEDELIUS provides the automation engineer with 3D data of the machine to check the accessibility of the automation in the work area for interfering contours.
